The Red Lion is situated in Chinnor, a village located right in the heart of the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside at the base of the panoramic Chilterns. The pub has recently been refurbished to a high standard which is proving popular with the local community and beyond.
We serve locally brewed real ales on our 4 hand pumps, including beer from XT brewery in Long Crendon. Nichola the manager used to work there, so she knows her beer! We have craft beers, delicious wines and a gin list which include some of our very own Oak Taverns gin.
The pub is separated into 2 areas with a warm and cosy feel throughout. The wooden beams and low ceilings are in keeping with the fact the pub is over 300 years old.
Outside we have a marquee for socially distanced drinks without the fear of getting rained on and a number of tables in the garden for when the sun is shining.
We have plans to make our outdoor barn into a drinking space too, so watch this space!
